A mystery is solved or maybe not:
Many fans ask themselves why are Gyda and Kristín on the cover of Belle
and Sebastian’s album, Fold your hands child, you walk like a peasant.
Apparently not even múm know the real reason. Gyda and Kristín are acquainted
with some of the B&S band members and Stuart Murdoch decided to take a
photo of both girls and use it for the album cover. Friendship does wonders.
:) Simple as that.

The lighthouse adventure:
múm have been busy recording their new album. Part of the recording was
done in a lighthouse in the northwest of Iceland. múm were surrounded
by nature and the only way to get in the “studio” was by helicopter or
rubber boat. The second proved to be quite unstable and made múm better
sailors for sure. According to insiders Kristín got lost on the mountains.
Don’t worry! She got back safe and sound. The recording became an adventure,
involving motors and old generators breaking down, flames coming from
an exhaust pipe and promptly extinguished by Fatcat’s fireman Jamie.
múm are now back in town and will continue the recording of their new
album with a little help from Finish drummer Samuli Kosminen.
