What music was playing when you lost your virginity? I was too concentrated on other matters to really notice. I think it was something to do with the Cure.
What's in your wallet? I don't have a wallet: there are only holes in my pockets.
What makes you laugh? People that take themselves to seriously, and tickling.
You've died and gone to heaven - who are you hanging out with? Gandhi, Zappa, Jesus, Aldous Huxley and all the crackheads.
Should all drugs be decriminalized? Yes. But not all of them should be used.
First musical hero? Flava Flav.
First pop star you fancied? Limahl.
Where do you go to escape from the world? I go within.
Last good book you read? The New York Trilogies by Paul Auster.
Favourite film character? Woody Allen.
Most memorable journey? Staying at an isolated lighthouse in the middle of nowhere.
Your alternative national anthem? Beach Boys "God Only Knows".
What do you never leave home without? A huge replica of our solar system.
Favourite item of clothing? Chaotic bundle of strings that used to be my sweater. I still use it.
Tell us a joke? I'm not getting paid to be funny: I'm not getting paid at all. I'm serious, I am. I have shit instead of brains.
Which historic figure/cartoon character do you most identify with? The guy who's always playing the piano in Snoopy.
